Booking Terms
A retainer and signed contract is required to secure all weddings, major events and other large group bookings. Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance. Understand that after the retainer has cleared, artists are secured to accommodate the requested services, and other brides/clients are promptly turned away.
The retainer covers 50% of the total booking amount, and the remaining 50% is due two weeks before the wedding/event date.
To book a wedding/event the following booking minimums must be met:
Gracie’s: $870.00 (Friday/Saturday); $715.00 (Sunday)
Artists’: $640.00 (Friday/Saturday); $525.00 (Sunday)Minimums apply from May 1st to October 31st of every calendar year and each artist must meet their minimum to accompany each booking. Minimums are based on service totals not on service types. Ie. Bride+4 Makeups or Bride+2 Hairstyles with Hair Extensions added can both meet the minimum.
Payment Terms
Preferred methods of payment include cash, cheque or e-transfer.
Visa and Mastercard is accepted, subject to a 3% transaction fee based the total booking amount.
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars, are subject to HST, and do not include gratuities.
Service Terms
Wedding day services must be rendered on the booking date, and completed at the same location.
The request for a location change is subject to a fee, plus travel and parking, if applicable. Location changes are always subject to artist availability and available timelines.
Extra makeup and/or hair services may be added to the booking at anytime, subject to artist availability.
Extra makeup and/or hair services added on the booking date may be possible, but only after contracted services are complete. Most current service rates apply to all added services.
Rescheduled Bookings
If the booking is rescheduled 121 days or more before the original booking date, and the new date can be accommodated, the original retainer will be rolled over one time and an administrative fee will apply for the extended correspondence time.
If the request to reschedule the booking is 120 days or less before the original date or the Artist is not available for the new requested date, the booking is treated as a cancellation and the original balance still remains due.
Cancelled Bookings
If the booking is cancelled for any reason, 121 days or more before the original booking date, the entire retainer amount is forfeited.
If the booking is cancelled for any reason, 120 days or less before the original booking date, the Client remains responsible for the remaining balance due.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Any mistreatment of the artist and her associates, before or during the booking will result in immediate departure. Examples may include, but are not limited to, foul language, discrimination based on physical appearance, gender, sexual orientation, religion or ethnicity. In the case mistreatment results in immediate departure, no movies will be returned to the Client.
