What is a brow lamination?

A brow lamination is a straight, flat perm for your brows. Perms can either curl or straighten the hair, and in this case, a lamination straightens and redirects the brow hairs and sets them in place.
This is the opposite of a lash lift which curls the lashes upwards creating a lifted effect.

Will my brows be stick to my face?

Not at all. You can comb them like usual, only after a lamination your brows will stay where you comb them. Laminations are great because it allows your brows to keep their shape without the use of a gel or pomade. How long does a lamination take?

The entire process takes appx. 45-60 minutes depending on how thick your brows are, and if your service includes tinting and a brow wax. All first time brow and lash clients must fill out a client intake and consent form before the start of the service.

Does a lamination hurt?

Not at all. There may be some slight redness visible on the skin surrounding the brow area, but any irritation usually subsides within a couple of hours. Avoid using skincare with retinal, AHA, BHA, Vitamin C or other actives at least 1-2 weeks before your appointment to reduce your risk of skin sensitivity.

How long does a lamination last?

A lamination lasts 4-8 weeks depending on your lifestyle, and aftercare. For example, if you sweat, swim or sauna often you can expect the lamination and tint to last for a shorter period of time, just like the hair on your head!
